- Be a Malaysian citizen, permanent resident, or a foreign citizen with a Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) visa
- Hold a valid Class B AROC
- Have at least one year of experience operating under a Class B allocation
- Be at least 15 years old on the day of the examination
